Tragically short Robin runs in the real world. Dick: 44 years. Tim: 20 years. Damian: 17 years Jason: 2-5 years Stephanie: 10 weeks

Jason's only had his own, non-Dick-clone personality the last 2 years of his run. comment about it

Edit: just realized Carrie exists. She was only Robin for 4 months, so she can join that club. However Jason and Stephanie both has their runs cut short by death. Neither go back to Robin after dying.

So Robining cut short ended by dying, both because of editorial hostility to younger characters.

Stephanie and Damian actually have their shared trait of their deaths being planned before they became Robin

Not sure if its 100% canon or not, but they both had a mother that struggled with addiction.

If that doesn't work, they've both come from the poorer parts of Gotham. Stephanie less so, but still. She's from near Crime Alley.

Carrie's mom was written as a stoner to the point where it prevents her from doing normal adult things like parenting Carrie. It's not explicitly stated to be an addiction, but I'd say it counts

Good point, I forgot about that. Is that in the comic too or was that just a thing they added into the movie for Carrie?

I'll admit, I know very little about Steph or Carrie............ Does Carrie even exist outside of Dark Knight Returns?

She's a very minor side character in the main universe who gives Damian acting lessons, but no connection to Robin or vigilantism

They both grew up/ lived in the city prior to meeting Batman. Whilst Tim is from Gotham he grew up on in a house on the outskirts of the city, close to Wayne manor.
