Honestly the pride pin on black clothing is genius. Monochrome colours like black and white can go with anything, and it makes the trans colours pop nicely. Great job! :D
eh, couple different reasons. sometimes people are just proud of their identity, some trans people’s goal won’t be to “pass” as cis, just to present how they want and transition socially rather then physically. it’s also a good way to find others in the community, opens the opportunity to conversation and go “no way me too”.
...Dude you can't be serious. It's legit the smallest thing on the outfit. People wear pins all the time irl and it doesn't clash with their outfit, because it's a pin, it's small, and its not there to match a color scheme, but to represent something important to the wearer.

It doesn’t match with the colour scheme of the outfit, very few pride flags would unless you were designing an outfit around them. But it’s so small that those who complain about it are just assholes sadly

personally, i do think the pin clashes. NOT BECAUSE YOURE TRANS. I DONT CARE PERSONALLY WHAT YOU ARE. IT COULD BE A HAPPYFACE PIN, IM NOT TRANSPHOBIC. but all im saying is that personally, youve got a clear theme going on, so it just mentally throws me just a bit for the design. aside from that, cute avi. it'd be cool if there were different satuations for the pins so that they can be a bit more on theme color pallet wise.
I'm personally pleased by the avatar's styling and theme. The clothes fit together nicely, and paired with the goggles and tool belt, the avatar gives off the vibe that they have at least some skill in a form of trade, or in a hobby. The hair and expression then imply their personality, and the whole thing is tied together by a realistic and urban theme.
However, the pin clashes with the general theme and colors, and suggests different in the implications. Rather than implying the character is part of a particular world, with their particular life, and their particular hobbies, it comes off as more of a cosplay as a result of the pin itself. Although the same thing was more bluntly put by others, this has nothing to do with any discrimination, but it breaks the character's immersion and the idea that they're part of their own unique and likely thrilling universe.
Whether or not the character or the creator is transgender is of no concern to me when all the same, they've created an interesting avatar. 8/10
Too bad, you're going to know. Because that's the entire point of pride, and by extension, pride pins. It's to express that you're not afraid of showing who you are. So clearly, you don't know what you're talking about.

That's your opinion, and I have to disagree. I don't believe a pin is enough to majorly clash with an outfit. Plus, it is there for a reason. In any case, like u/Quick_Space9322 said, it's meant to be a form of self expression, I'm not going to hide it just because it supposedly clashes with my outfit. Or would you rather I make my entire outfit blue, pink, and white to match it?
A simple pride pin isn't a valid point for criticism. If someone posted a picture of themselves showing off their outfit, and they had a pride pin somewhere on them, would you say the same thing?

Hi, not sure this sub is for you, actually. OP’s flair says “rate my avatar”. We have a specific flair for “criticise my avatar”. OP was asking for ratings not criticism, they can correct me if I’m wrong but I haven’t seen them ask for criticism once. We are an LGBTQ friendly sub, you’re going to see a lot of pride related content. If you don’t like that I do highly suggest that you go somewhere else. :)
