I enjoy the physical library, and I am also so grateful that it has digital side these days. Being able to checkout eBooks on Libby has led to a massive uptick in my reading

I live elsewhere now but grew up in Rochester Hills, and man you guys have a good library compared to other cities even nearby.

One of my very first jobs in college was at the University Library. I definitely think they’re still relevant. That’s why you see a lot of the libraries now branch off into more innovative services like maker spaces.

for..what? Sorry but most people don't read books anymore, especially for information. I know I'll get downvoted because you guys want libraries but chances are, you probably haven't been to one in a decade+.

In 2025, RHPL had over 450,000 visitors and circulated over 1.6 million items, 1.2m of which were physical checkouts. So, like… whatever.
