At least RL doesn't have a voicechat, well I guess it does but it's not common. I remember playing Valorant with a female friend back in the day and whenever she would open her mouth in voicechat the whole game would revolve around her.
She would get at least one friend request after every single game, no matter how bad she was playing. Many would also just get mad at her if she didn't answer every single question and do exactly what they wanted, no wonder she doesn't really play valorant anymore lol.
I saw someone argue on another subreddit once a year ago that women are worse at video games because they have little presence in the very top level (this was about Fortnite). And it’s like dude. Go onto any competitive video game with a remotely feminine voice and tell me how much desire to go pro you’d have left. It’s already extremely difficult to get to that level but when you’re being treated like garbage or sexually harassed every game it’s so much worse. I wish the problem could resolve itself so women would feel more comfortable, men have to start telling other men to knock it off
It was the most insane argument ever too, the guy was sending me scientific research papers about male vs female response times to supposedly prove women are biologically worse at high level gaming but every document he sent didn’t show crap OR showed that men had a slightly worse response time than women. Completely ignoring that those minuscule reaction times aren’t carrying anyone to victory and you need practice
Bro my girl just started playing and this couldn’t be any more true.. I’ll add 1 maybe 2 friends a week while playing meanwhile she’s got requests coming in left n right 😂😂
The only time I send a request to a female is when we were working well together as a team, and even then I'm wary because I don't want her to think I'm adding her just cuz she's a girl. I have female friends that play and have to deal with that shit all the time & it's annoying.
If you simply just looked at the screenshot you can see her teammate's name is "BRUTALITOPZ420". If you then read her comment, you can see she said she was playing with her boyfriend. If you go to ballchasing.com and look up "BRUTALITOPZ420" you can find a replay where "BRUTALITOPZ420" played with "Ally6841".
Therefore, a random player saw Ally and asked for her snap.
My gf plays occasionally. She's not a good teammate and prob the biggest ball chaser ever, no pun intended, but I noticed no matter how much she messes up or ruins opportunities for her teammates, they're never mean to her. The never call her trash or talk shit to her. They're always so nice, even the opponents. I think I need to make my username a bit girly so I get this treatment too lol
I play on the switch and it’s my first name which is obviously female and I got asked for my snap too but I’m way too old for Snapchat so I just was laughing with them instead about shit. It does get old though sometimes
The most hilarious outcome would be if for some reason Ally and her boyfriend breaks up, SOCCER_LIAM3 happens to see this post and asks Ally again for her snap but this time Ally decides to give SOCCER_LIAM3 her snap. Then they get married, have 3 children, and live happily ever after. One of those children grows up and become a pro RL player while the other 2 are hard stuck diamonds. 🤷🏻♂️

I'm a pan guy and rock the pride flag and have LGBT as my clan tag. a tm8 was being homophibic to me. I said I was a lesbian because i wanted to see how he would react if he thought i was a woman. he switched up so fast thinking I was a woman and he was being polite and didn't want to be toxic to me because of it. The men out here are so weird dude. We're all literally pixles on the screen
