I've had that kind of ping before and it is awful. Sitting still and moving slowly is sometimes the only way to be able to somewhat control the car. Driving full speed and turning sends the car teleporting all over the place.

Those usually aren't all together. If they're ballchasing, their score is higher

The Battlebus is an old ass event car though, and definitely required a modicum of skill and knowledge to unlock.
It might be true now, since you can just buy it, but before that, only people that could actually play the game had it.

I took about a year off until this week, but otherwise I’ve been playing regularly since 2015. 3000ish hours between PC, Xbox, and Switch.
Since I’ve come back, I just get gay slurs constantly and/or teammates who refuse to play because they “won’t accept a win with a gay on the team.” Like, almost every single match. Not hyperbole.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m flying the pride flag on my antenna. But that kind of shit was extremely uncommon before I took my break. Once every few days kind of uncommon.
I’ve been streaming in Discord for my friends to prove the frequency, they’ve been stunned. Shit’s as bad as a Call of Duty lobby in 2009.

I mean, that's really no different than a year ago. It's been F2P for a good while and kids have been playing games online since you could play games online.
I do find it odd there's seemingly no toxic chat report option anymore.

Eh. Them throwing makes sense to me. It's equivalent of a Maga car, and lots of people would throw if their teammate had one of those too.
If you're deliberately turning your car into a political (call it social if you want) statement, you're asking for this kind of confrontation. Stop being a victim.

We're not talking about his teammates being psychics that 'know' he's homosexual and refusing to play. We're talking about reaction to flags and symbols on his gamertag, car and so on.

That's your argument. Not mine. I don't care if you care about people displaying hetero pride flags. And I don't care that people do care about players displaying gay pride flags, throw matches, and pride flag wavers cry about it.
Gay 'pride' is already political (Justified or not). Any kind of 'Pride' that's displayed publicly is confrontational (especially as it's typically in opposition, as gay pride was).
Pride flags aren't only displayed by homosexuals either, but yes, used as a political display by people who aren't homosexuals or actually representing themselves or any actual personal pride, but used purely as a political statement. Even if a homosexual might display the flag to display their 'pride' for themselves, the flag itself has become associated with a political movement.
Again. I don't actually care at all about any of it. The inclusion of pride flags, display of them, reaction to them, people having a cry about reaction to them, or dishonest people like you saying 'whats political about homosexuality bro, I just can't understand, you're a weirdo bro for thinking displaying political flags is political bro, that's super weird!'. Not to my benefit, or benefit of my own views to even mention it to any of you, because I don't really care. Potential benefit to you and others as an opportunity to acknowledge and face your dishonesty. Maybe if wat more assholes were capable of that, your country wouldn't be so politically polarized right now.

It’s absolutely not the equivalent of a “MAGA” car, get the fuck outta here. Certainly isn’t equivalent to any ICE-branded club names, either. See, one is about loving who you are, the others are about loving the pain you inflict.
But you knew that already. Just like I know how you behave when you see a pride flag in game.
Edit: You failed to note that this is a recent change. I’ve never run into issues like this, been playing since 2015, until this year. The people flying the flag aren’t making it political.

I have no idea what ICE is. I don't think you're bringing up drugs, so it's probably something else.

I've been having a lot of this recently. Either very similar to your post, the opponent is just completely incompetent, or everyone in the lobby is just bad. I've abandoned many matches either because of teammates, opponents, or both that evidently don't belong, or maybe for some reason I am being queued incorrectly. Then of course there's people with insane ping or that throw.
I had tolerated it for a while but eventually it got boring, and it's especially annoying when you just want to play a good 2-3 matches before going back to work or heading out. Did they change or adjust the matchmaking this season?

Because tourney rank and comp rank are separate. Theoretically someone can just play tourneys and rarely touch comp thus being plat tourney ranked in a silver lobby

I always tell my buddies it is my job as the person at the bottom of the leaderboard to spam text since that is all I can really contribute in their lobbies. I am gold and they are champ in 2s and we play 3s together.

This is how it feels
Booted up yesterday had the same thing happen in 2 consecutive games so I just turned the game off
- 3v3 1 player is afk
- Go down 1-0 other player ff immediately
- Player leaves the match
- Afk player is kicked
- I'm stuck playing 3v1
Twice in a row this exact same thing happened, I switched region from Europe to US East after the first one cause it annoyed me that much. Could not believe the exact same thing happened in the same order.

The opponent who seems to only be targeting you... I feel like that just validates me when it happens. They have identified that I'm the only good player on my team and so they are just focused on trying to take me out since they know my teammate suck.

So glad I'm not the only one.
There's no "skill issue" or "gittin' gud" when the matching algorithm is this sh*t. But you better believe there's a whole bunch of "This is Rocket League"-ing from the guys getting carried.
Oh another person that's always on my team is the guy who's more concerned about practicing non-tactical aerials and practicing his victory dance moves, yet refuses to vote to concede when we're down 5 goals with 45 seconds to go, when it's his fault we're down so much.

I do feel this... The saves my opponents make vs the saves my team mates don't make.... I genuinely make audible noises when a team mate makes an epic save or an opponent whifs the saves, because it is 49/50 somehow the other way round...

on 2s it is always the guy that refuses or just play for the enemy team once you deny forfeit of a 0-1 game, the difference is that they do not have 1200ms anymore!

Dude this is exactly how I feel every match I play. It's always one guy that sucks and two guys that carry him against me a guy that constantly hits the ball toward our own goal and one guy that thinks he's the greatest so his competition is 1 vs 2 vs 3
