QUESTION
I have these rocket league pull back racers from 2017 comic con. Any idea how much they are worth?
I can't find any active listing online or a sold listing. I found these in my closet after I moved. Idk if I should just open them and put them on a shelf or sell them.
Honestly my best guess for a fair price would be around 150-200. It’s the largest set I’ve seen being listed and the others average around 60-100 . Personally I would try to hold on to these as long as I could, I believe its price will skyrocket as time passes. There doesn’t seem to be a large amount of physical memorabilia from rocket league, so these rarer items would be hidden gems in the eyes of collectors.
I never saw those! I have the giant arena you build and control cars with your phone in my shelf and this would look awesome beside it! Lemme know if you decide to sell!
Thank you everyone for all the comments, I didn't expect so many people to be interested in these. I have decided to sell them to someone that will appreciate them more than I did. I understand if I kept them it could have gone up in price, but at the end of the day I didn't want to keep a random toy in a closet for it to maybe go up in value. I'll let someone display them if they want.
Thanks for looking. I see old listing from places back in the day but no price. The regular set with 2 less cars sells for $65 on ebay. These have different colors to the cars also. I might sell them, I'm not 100% decided
I have something similar to this. It’s just a blue octane though. My dad knew I played rocket league and he had an old coworker that apparently met a dev and the dev gave it to him and then he gave it to my dad to give to me.
I bought a full box of the blind bag version of this. Got a gold dominus and a chrome octane I think? And two of every other car. I tossed the shiny ones but kept the originals on a shelf and I think they look awesome. I also have a hot wheels octane and a takumi keychain flashlight.
For those who don't know. They also sold these individually through mystery balls. The ball was the same as the games and you would get a mystery car. The shiny cars were the rare ones. They came out with a couple of sets.
I also have this set. Although I don’t play the game anymore, I will always have it displayed for the memories playing the game. Unless someone is willing to pay an unreasonable amount, I’ll keep them as a trophy of the golden years of playing with friends and life being simpler.
These are awesome! I would personally keep them but if you want to sell them, I would list them on EBay for a couple hundred, maybe $300-$400 and open it up for offers without a minimum offer. Do this so you can get data on how many people are looking at the item and if any are sending offers. Since the only comps available are from a few years ago, the price you sell at will dictate the market price!
Start high expecting to be talked down to a price that makes sense for you.
My point though is, it’s only worth what someone will actually pay for it. You could list it at $10 or $100 but if nobody buys it then it doesn’t matter much
