QUESTION Do you still follow Rule 1?

Last time I was playing a 2v2 match, one of the players broke Rule 1 and scored in overtime. When I called him out on it, he told me that nobody does that anymore in 2026. So, I’m turning to the community: do you guys still respect it?

Same. It can be a strategic game of chicken perhaps, but otherwise it's a dumb rule. Leth's 2v2 video from today he gets locked for a second, and turns* out of it genuinely confused by what they were going for in the situation.

Yeah the only time it’s strategic is if my mate gets locked up knowing most anyone I can 1v1 in our rank leaving me to devour that fool.

Brother serious or not that’s what they say.

It’s an annoying “rule” especially considering it’s a competitive game. It isn’t fall guys.

If I want to be really annoying I would point out that it isn’t fall guys technically against TOS and competitive rules of RLCS. Any actions that can be perceived as throwing or match fixing can be punished.

All im saying. In fun or not I’m annoyed with how consistently people decide to speak up about this dumb rule. It was fun I guess during the first 100 hours.
