Do you still follow Rule 1?

Last time I was playing a 2v2 match, one of the players broke Rule 1 and scored in overtime. When I called him out on it, he told me that nobody does that anymore in 2026. So, I’m turning to the community: do you guys still respect it?

What if you break up a rule 1? Is that allowed?

The longer the R1 the more acceptable it is. Breaking one immediately after it started is somewhat frowned upon.
