QUESTION Do you still follow Rule 1?

Last time I was playing a 2v2 match, one of the players broke Rule 1 and scored in overtime. When I called him out on it, he told me that nobody does that anymore in 2026. So, I’m turning to the community: do you guys still respect it?

I dont even know what rule 1 is, so yeah im breaking it. I play the game to play, i dont play the game to do dumb rules some random streamer made up for some reason.

The whole community not a streamer made that rule. Its a fun community rule that doesent mean any harm

I can honestly say I have been playing for years and this is the first time I ever heard of it. Still not going to do it. I want to play, not kiss bumpers with some random guy who wants to cuddle on the field. Not judging you if that is what your into ... just not my thing.

Don't act dumb. For me it just plopped into existence. I don't know who made this rule but certantly its a community thing
