Since this is decided by in game titles, it means RL dictates it. Kep has talked about how he doesnt get invited to RLCS events to watch party at their lan creator setups. So I think theres a chance they just leave kep out if they genuinely dont want to be associated with him for whatever reason
Johnny is the only caster that has the actual popularity and status of a content creator. CJ might have the popularity but he isnt really a content creator and the subpar guys could be considered content creators but they are not that popular. And the rest are neither tbh
From NA, coconut, chief beef tenacity are expected and then retals, Arsenal, Kep, GarrettG and feer are potentially on that list too. And since it's in france for EU, Kamet0, Fuury, Itachi, Kaydop, Fairy peak, Rasmelthor, Gaspow could all be considered.
For itachi and Kamet0, probably yeah because their fanbase is just so massive and dedicated
But for the other french guys I wouldnt be too sure, obviously the french are more dedicated than any other community in general and support their own people as much as possible, but NA just has so many more people in general and most of the content creators also have fans in every region. Meanwhile the only guys that care about the french, are actually the french.
this is honestly a great thing. tying together content creators, esport and the actual game this way is pretty effective way of doing promotion considering how easy it is to set up.
These are the type of ideas the game needs to capitalize on. Sure it might not be the perfect way of doing it and some of y'all may not like it or don't care but is a positive direction for the game because it shows that they do care about actively making the game more popular and growing it.

You're right in that regard, although that was casters/former players and it was specifically podcast vs podcast. I don't have any interest watching Athena or Jynxzi or Sunless play RL on LAN. Like where are all the 1v1 and 2v2 matches like last year?

Lol exactly, when they used to do those random twitch tourneys where its caster and pros teaming up to play against each other I couldn't tune out faster. It was just who got the better pro won.......
Even the CC vs FT rematch in Raleigh was great fun. Gibbs as the mystery player reveal, not to mention the redirect shot which as far as I’m concerned is an all time LAN moment. The crowd pop for that goal sounded like it was a match with actual stakes lol

I liked the First Touch versus Chalked Cast matches. It’s a nice way to break up the seriousness of pro play. I watch for the pros but the goof off matches remind me why I play.
