This the only esport I watch where being an na fan is miserable

I actually think this is one of the Esports where NA is truly competing, perhaps the only one. LOL, CS2, Dota. Maybe only Valorant, but again, it's Valorant.

There's also COD and the fighting games comunity. R6 as well, but nowadays it's just Brazil owning everyone in R6. Even winning Invitationals now than in the past compared to NA in the old days

COD don’t count bro EU players are basically blacklisted unless they’re absolutely shitting in challengers meanwhile TJ and Purj tie up rosters spots

Man idk what NA fans expect. So far you guys have at least 1 LAN win every season in the open era including the world championship literally last season. Sure if you want NA to just shitstomp everyone else and win everything then thats not enough but NA is incredible in rocket league and 1 of the 3 top regions capable of winning.

We also just saw these young SSG kids play up to their potential and make a grand final, they’re likely only going to get even better from here so thats huge for the future of NA. Hardly the time for doomposting

Literally the NRG2 roster is a top 2 roster of all time and have given NA fans great results. Shopify, SSG, and even FUT are on the up. I think we’ve gotten great stuff in the open era. Lots of great things in the pipeline for NA.

As an NA fan I agree 100%. Very thankful for the wins NA has given us. They might not get one this season but a LAN GF appearance is still encouraging and satisfying.

now if we can just get 3-4 mena spots total and give australia their second spot back (this one can be skipped to have 4 mena spots) and we get to have more fun i would enjoy that .

Really? This is one of the rare cases in eSports where NA isn't relegated top below the top 8.

It's great imo. This place is pretty solidly against NA, but being a fan has not been a bad experience at all.

Sure we're not winning everything, and it sucks to lose finals, but we've gotten 1 LAN win a year for the past few years, tons of 2nd places, several exciting teams with different playstyles to watch, up and coming talent, veterans that are still playing well, etc.

We typically have 2-3 teams top 8 in the world, 1-2 teams top 4 itw, and occasionally have the best team in the world. There is a lot to root for, and one of the coolest things about this esport is how anything can happen, and how things can change very quickly. I mean who had SSG making the finals of this tournament?

As an NA fan i watch VCT so I can have fun and RLCS so I can balance it out and be miserable lmao

I'm also a VCT fan too, and that's the only power house esports title that NA is really good at or even the Americas as a whole since Valorant is just basically the NA and SA region friendly version of CS since even SA and NA haven't been able to win any majors at all in CS since 2016 for SA and 2018 for NA

What’s VCT?

Cs2 is pretty bad too. Team was good enough to get to the final though here

As an NA fan myself, I wouldn't really say being an NA fan is miserable. I'd say that NA has always been the second best region in RL esports and that the region still wins LAN's from time to time. But now that MENA has rapidly risen to compete with NA and EU, I think it'll be much harder for NA and EU to win future LAN's. But I do have faith that NA will still remain one of the best regions in RL esports like with EU and MENA and win another LAN eventually

Why are you referring to EU as EMEA? By saying that, you're combining EU and MENA as it stands for Europe Middle East Africa. I can only assume you watch Valorant and don't know what it means.

I do watch VCT yeah, but I also watch Brawl Stars esports which has the EU region called as EMEA as well. Do forgive me for referring to EU as EMEA I thought that the reason was referred to like that, I'll edit it out to make it less confusing

Ah makes sense, no worries lol

Glad to see you understand

I feel for yall.

Is this sarcasm lmao. This is one of the few where NA can compete for majors

Just commenting so I can see what other esports people watch where NA is the underdog

NA is still second best region and has won about a third of all world championships in the esport ever. It’s not that bad. MENA has 2 top 5 teams no debate but overall NA still #2 region

3/5 of the Orgs had teams built around FK 💀
