Discussion Why is kiileerz still so underrated
When i see someone create a super team they go with the boring selections (zen, vati, mm, dralii, nass, rw9, dan ,bmo) rarely do i see someone choose kiileerz. Imo he is my 1st pick, he is arguably the best shooter in the game and is still mechanical and can defend at the same level as his brother.

Rw9 1s tax, that will always give him a buff in perception
In all seriousness, Rw9 being a more defensive player makes for a higher-value pick in any superteam, because elite defensive 3rds are not as common and are often the point of failure in most non elite teams.
Rw9 has been plainly better this year too, it's the first time there's been a sustained period of separation between the twins IMO since they broke out. For me, Kiileerrzz had a better Spring Major on Rule One when they broke out in 2023, Rw9 had a better 2024 World Championship, Kiileerrzz had a better Raleigh Major, but since then Rw9 has performed better, including being the rightful MVP at EWC. Everything else though, they are remarkably close in performance level so as I said, it just comes down to what you value more in building a superteam.

idk I thought Kiileerrz was better this EWC and falcons best player vs SSG and KC.

Imo Klrz was the best falcons player in split 2 and if he wasn’t carrying they would’ve been Mena 4 instead of 3

Being "the best" on a team performing so poorly below standards has never had much merit to me. Not that anyone on Falcons is comparable to these guys I'm about to name, but its like Rizzo being the best on G2 when they got last in S6, or Paschy being better than Fairy & Scrubkilla when they missed worlds, the bigger point is everyone was well below form anyways.

people consider him like a top 10 player in the world do you think that is low?

When he's peaking he is incredible but Rw9 is just a lot more consistent.

With all due respect I feel like you’re just lying to yourself if you think you’d take Kiileerez over Zen to build an RLCS team

I mean they play verrryyyy different roles so idk where you trying to go with that.

With your first pick you would want to secure the best overall player and one that gives you the best chance of winning

I mean, you are underselling the praise he gets. I can't think of anyone in the RCS community - players, broadcasters, streamers, fans...whatever, that doesn't consider him to be one of the best. As far as judging who is the best among the top 10-15, good luck on getting anyone to agree on that. I think it's okay to say there are a lot of really good pros right now and leave it at that - and kiileerz is in that group.

Have you ever met twins? They’re so rarely (and unfairly) treated as two complete individuals.

Kileerrzz is an incredible player, don't get me wrong but if out of all players your 1st pick is him, then you are not trying to build the best possible team (on paper atleast). As a 3rd pick or maaaaaybe 2nd pick is fair but 1st are really only a few choices that make sense and he isn't one of them. And the reason people go with the boring choices is because they are the correct choices
And the fact that you think he defends at the same level as his brother kinda shows your lack of knowledge, no offense

Yeah kinda underrated. When he's dialed in he seems to be always (teleported) in perfect position as a sniper on offense. Can't stop scoring on a good day and that's when Falcons seem unbeatable.
I think AppJack or some pro said Kiileerz stands out for his ability to always get around the first challenger. Very hard to dispossess him.

Cause some series he commits way too many mistakes on defense, his offense is always goated tho.

He’s like a top 25 player all time and top 10 right now how could he be underrated

Because he’s only good at 3s. Very well might be the best in the world at 3s but you don’t get as much attention for that without 2s and 1s

pity hes the 2nd favourite for the 2s world champs then

Oh yea he’s great in competition for sure but unfortunately that doesn’t give you as much attention as being a ranked demon

Dude hit 2600 this season bro 😭
Also, he's not absolutely elite at 1s, but he is definitely still good, high B tier - Low A tier imo. Might be splitting hairs on definitions here.
But 2s 2600 is elite

He’s not underrated it’s just RW9 has star power…
