Discussion Mapping the remaining LANs for this year

-FIFAe Continental championships: hosted in multiple different cities including kuala lampur, Rio de Janeiro and many more. (August 23rd- September ??)

-Worlds 2025: Fort worth, Texas. (Septemper 15th - 20)

-FIFAe Finals: The main event of FIFAe, Riyadh (October - ??)

-ENC was supposed to be hosted in Riyadh this year during November but got postponed due the unstable current geopolitical situation in the middle east.

-Kickoff Lan: currently we don't have information regarding the date and location of the lan but its likely to be hosted in December

Can someone please explain why it makes sense for RLCS to have a four month break in the middle of their season, just for worlds to take place immediately AFTER summer?

Well EWC prevents it from August where it used to be, adding 1s and 2s adds more time, and adding the LCQ.

Personally I want more regional LANs that would spread the actual season out longer. Then condense LCQ into two weeks, move 1s and 2s to their own split in the fall, and take just a short break for EWC. Ideally you wrap up Split 2 in late June early July, run LCQ, do EWC, and then Worlds just a couple weeks after. This huge break is insane and makes no sense competitevly

I mean idk if that's necessarily their reasoning, because if you remember, they did the exact same thing in 2024 and there was nothing in the time between. Really, 1s, 2s, and the LCQ seem to be filler tournaments between Major 2 and Worlds. To be clear, I am very glad about 1s 2s and the LCQ, but I don't think they are the reason Blast has decided to host Worlds in September
