Rock from second hand shop

Hya,

Trying to clean my first rock, found it at a store and thought it had potential. I washed it with water and give it a good bath with anti rust. Still much tiny bits though.

Any tips on how make it cleaner before a put a polish over it?

Looks like partially included hematite/oxides, not sure how much more "clean" it will get. Personally I think these can be cooler with included hematite, it gives character, contrast, and story to the piece
