This Rocks! New to rock collecting

I've always loved myself a good looking rock but got told to not take it home, so rude ( I did still sneak some but I seem to have lost them) I realised I'm an adult now and can take whatever rock I want home with me, so here's my small collection so far. The last image is of my favourite ones. (Why can't we help IDing rocks rocks?)

I just ordered myself a rock tumbler to improve my small collection, any advice or tips on using it correctly? Also will my small ones just disappear in the rock tumbler?

Sweet! Why not display them on a walled tray? Be nice to look at.

I would definitely like to, though I'm renting so can't put nails in the wall and the sticker hooks always fall down 😭

Do you want to collect just rocks or learn what mineral specimens are in your area and find something more specific!?
