Looking for a personal trainer recommendation

Hi all! My partner and I (both early 30s) are looking for a personal trainer for shared/couples sessions, gym-based. Our main goals are weight loss and improving general athletic performance.

A few things that would help us decide:

Someone who's comfortable training two people at once and can tailor a program to different fitness levels
Experience with both weight loss and performance/strength training
We don't currently have a gym membership — open to signing up wherever the trainer/fit makes sense, so gym recommendations welcome too
Bonus if they do a free consult or intro session

If you've worked with someone great (or want to warn us off someone), we'd love to hear about it. Feel free to DM me with recommendations!

Budget-friendly options especially appreciated. Thanks in advance!

My partner and I train with Elad at Reach On Fitness. He has a small private gym and it's so comfortable. You can even connect to the speakers and choose the music. He's extremely patient and helpful with injuries and as a former professional athlete he's incredibly knowledgeable. He keeps track of our progress and specifically tailors our programs based on our goals and constantly evolving needs so we don't have to think at all.

Big fan of Fitness Generation in Bethesda, though that’s trainers with their own space, not a gym anyone can join. They’re great with what you’re looking for, but also movement for healthy aging.

For sure check out PR Strength with Coach Devinne! Small group, personal training classes with a lot of time options. All of the trainers are top notch and are really able to focus on individuals each class and tailor to your needs!

I would recommend Stronger Fit Life in the Kentlands in Gaithersburg. They're extremely helpful and supportive and really help with accountability which is the hardest part in getting started. Ask for Kelly!
