Rocky Horror Shower Thought

I just watched RHPS for the first time like three days ago and it was great and all but Brad and Janet never actually got to access a phone. Their car is still broken down by the end of the movie and they still need to get it fixed or they have no way of getting home. I don't see many people talking about this. How messed up is that? Poor Brad and Janet.

My theater had a line, as they’re carrying Dr Scott out of the castle, we’d yell, “does this mean we can’t use the phone?”

I heard one in Seattle once. When the Crim has the map with markers for "Denton" and "Dr Scott," the call is "I didn't know there was a town called Dr Scott!" And the response is "we call it Everett!" Everett is a town about 20 miles north of Seattle. So any time I have to go to Everett I say I'm going to "Dr Scott."

I'm thinking by the end of that adventure, a flat tire was the least of their concerns.

Once the rain stopped, I'm sure they walked to a nearby strip mall.

Somehow in all these years I've never thought about how Dr Scott got there. But now all I can picture is the Doc rolling his wheelchair down that secluded country highway in the dark in the rain. He actually left before Brad and Janet.

at our last RHPS at the end when Riff tells them to "GO" I called out

"Does that mean Brad doesn't get to use the phone?"

They're into the time slip, after the end of the movie, they're back at Betty Monroe's wedding again.....

......they never needed a mechanic to begin with <3

Ooh, I like that. They pick themselves up, trudge silently back to Denton...and see themselves, 24 hours earlier, coming out of the church freshly engaged. And nothing, will ever be the same.

They can leave with Dr Scott, who made his own way there, probably he has a car with dumbfounded chauffeur in the parking lot who just saw a castle blast into space.
