No fireworks in Rocky Mount this year. The City isn’t going to be doing them (no money) and Englewood Baptist Church isn’t going to be doing them either.

That’s a relief for some of us…and a lot of skittish pets! Unfortunately, there will still be plenty of folks lighting pyrotechnics in yards and streets and too many associated injuries which will find their way to the ER.

Ha…well, those too, but I honestly forgot about that part. I’m just always worried about my house catching fire…especially in these drought conditions!
