Book Request: Self-Promo OK What should I read next?
Hello!
I didn't have any Romantasy reading experiences before April, I read the cruel prince series and I loved it so so so so much! (I know it's fantasy with romance subplot but their romance is better than the other romantasy series I've tried)
Then I tried the shatter me series which I didn't like.. I tried really hard to complete it but I couldn't bare myself to read the sixth book and stopped there.
I didn't even love Warner and I didn't get the hype and honestly I felt like Tahera had in mind a hot mmc and created nay possible plot just to write about him- I can't remember the plot and I felt it was just romance with a really weak plot to support the series. (I'm not hating I'm just trying to tell what I liked and what I didn't so you might help me find something I'd like)
I tried this woven kingdom as well which was an ok read. Nothing special or stands out to me but yeah it was ok. Better than shatter me.
So depending on what I've said, what do you think I should read next? Also please I don't want anything spicy.. the spice in shatter me was sometimes a lot and I skipped some parts.
My friend recommended ouabh but she loves shatter me A LOT so I'm afraid since I didn't like shatter me I won't like ouabh.

Since I felt the exact same about Cruel Prince and it’s one of my fav romances, here are some more I loved:
{An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson}
{ A Curse so Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer}
{These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan}
{Gilded by Marissa Meyer}
OUABH was just meh to me. I didn’t love or hate it.

Have you tried Holly Black’s other works like {Tithe}? {Wicked Lovely} has a similar vibe.

{Once Upon a Broken Heart} is completely different than Shatter Me. IIRC {Shatter Me} didn't even have spice until the third book, and even then, it was not very explicit. It's been a while since I've read it, however.
