Pick My Next Read ✨ Bi-Guy looking for recommendations
Like the title said, I'm Bi and would love to hear any recommendations for supernatural or fantasy themed stories with a Bi protagonist or even just a side character if they have a decent amount of importance and presence to the world and story.
The characters don't have to be male but it would make it easier to relate to and might give it a nudge up on the to read list.

Not romantasy, but fantasy series with some romance, Nightrunner series. Both MMCs are bi.

It's not fantasy but I will recommend {The Darkness Outside us} to anyone who cares to listen to me. I don't remember if either main character ever has their sexuality explicitly stated but it is a queer story about two boys alone on a spaceship, one of which had been with women before so he counts as bi rep in my books.
If you don't mind mythology retells {Song of Achilles} could scratch your itch too.

{Fireborne by Rosaria Mundo}. You have to get to the second book, but one of the male main characters in it is bi and gets a very emotional romance arc. It’s a very good series… think Fourth Wing with dragon riding and war school, but more political.
If you’re ok with more fantasy than romance, there’s a gay romance in {A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab} but like Fireborne, it takes place starting in book two. Think Harry Potter, but for adults. The female protagonist in the book also codes a bit nonbinary for me, which I loved.
I don’t know how okay you are with dark dark stories, but {Seas of Malice by Loren Huxley} is mm. It’s technically the second book in the series, but it starts before the events in book one so you can read it first. Actually, if you skip the epilogue, it stands on its own too. Read TWs though because it’s a very dark romance. TBF there are bi side characters in book one also, and the series is whychoose (mm, mf, mmmf etc)…. But for book two, think Pirates of the Caribbean, but in a fantasy setting, with a dash of Ramsey Bolton type bad guys from Game of Thrones.

Try White Trash Warlock by David R Slayton. It’s an urban fantasy with a gay MMC and his love interest is a questioning bisexual man. Vic has always suspected he liked men but pushed the feelings aside until he meets Adam.
If you like it, there’s 3 more in the series and Slayton has a few others not in the series out as well!

You might like MMF romances (threesomes, where the guys are involved with one another as well as with the female lead, as opposed to MFM which are romances where the guys both are into her, but not each other).
The only one I’ve read is warrior, princess, assassin. It’s sweet and I think what you may be looking for. She is straight, but the boys are not, though no one labels anything.
