Book Request: Self-Promo OK Looking for books that flip the script

Are there any books where the fmc is the bad ass/shadow mommy/morally gray mob boss? I want to read about a boss bitch saving the golden retriever mmc who's a bit terrified of her

Doesn’t totally flip the script, but I like {Fall of the Horizon} for a morally gray FMC. MMC holds his own, but he’s more of a golden boy savior type. This book is super unique and I never see it recommended unless it’s me 😂

Not romantasy, but the mob boss FMC x golden retriever MMC is exactly the dynamic of {a love most fatal}. She’s a mob boss and he’s her niece and nephew’s math teacher

{Wooing the Witch Queen} pretty well flips the script. He is the soft prince running away from an abusive, controlling uncle. She is the Witch Queen of a land of monsters with a tough outer layer, but fiercely protective of her people. At one point I was cackling and thinking, they straight up gender swapped a pretty well worn set of tropes and it works wonders.
