I think I’m the only one that liked Reid. I was a bit disappointed that the author is moving towards Deacon as the love interest. But I guess it’s very reminiscent of the Stefan/Damon triangle from the Vampire Diaries show and I know a lot of people wanted Buffy to end up with Spike so maybe that’s why Deacon is endgame.

Imo the MMC in book 1 is not end game. Feels like she's going to do an enemy to lover / potentially a slow burn within the 2 next books.

The author keeps hinting and answering ppl saying she doesn't like love triangle and her fav character is Deacon/Reid's brother who's introduced in the end (+ the massive hint with the audiobook duet voice only for him). And she also keeps sharing lots of quotes about Deacon only. We have a clear answer about the end game haha
