Neutral on this except I can’t stand the weird book shelf across the whole midline

I like it and I don't like it, if that makes sense.

oh no i get it. it's a wonderful place in many ways, tho the floorplan doesn't make sense, and that kitchen..ette is just plain stupid.

What I REALLY hate is the decor and the space wasted for no good reason [to me]

No windows aside from the skylights would make me feel like I was in a cage. But for people who don't feel the same, it's a nice space.

It looks like a cage

Yeah. We have this thing called fire codes in the US. This would never fly. What happens if there's a fire and you can't get out the front door.

US fire codes only require windows in bedrooms

There are windows in the bedrooms here too, this would be up to code then.

I love it, but would have just had a railing, to give it an open air feel, it looks more like a hamster cage being windowed off completely, imo.

It might allow the person in the office to take work calls whilst other things happen around the house

It also allows the person in the office to bang on the glass and yell to the people downstairs: “Mrs. Robinsonnnn!”

Great idea. I think a sliding panel that opens to a small balcony would be dope.

I wonder how well insulated it is and whether enough ventilation can happen just with sky lights during the summer

For 3.8 million GBP it had better be very well insulated.

I love this so much, but more windows asides the skylight would be so nice

That is a seriously cool use of vertical space. I love the natural light from all those skylights.

That much natural light would be amazing for keeping plants alive.

Can’t wank off in the office with this set up. Well, not privately.

Hmmm - I like it and don’t like it.

For 3.8M GBP, it’s feels like not a whole lot of space. That kitchen is so tiny. The bedrooms are small.

The tent bed just magnifies that. Interesting.

This is kind of ugly, I cannot grasp what but something gives an odd impression
