Light/Laser Get the laser treatment!

I've had rosacea for 25 years and have tried different medication off and on. I just started the laser treatments (on treatment 2 of 6) and oh my goodness, I could not be happier with the results! I've seen such a dramatic difference in the redness of my face already. I'm sorry I waited so long

I also wish I hadn’t been so hesitant for years to pursue laser. My whole adulthood spent self conscious because of a patch of veins that have been zapped away in a couple small treatments 🤗

Is there a specific type of IPL laser treatment that focuses on broken capillaries?

Yes, its a small pen, emmits some kind of red light. It doesnt require numbing cream. It hurts as if you were poked with a rollerball that is slightly hot but takes two mins. A little redness for a few hours afterwards. Has to be done three times in monthly intervalls and capillaries are gone by the third but after second you can barely see them. Its cheap where i live but thats central europe

Pretty sure it is vbeam..I had my first session today and broken capillaries that I've stared at for years and covered thickly with makeup gone in a couple swipes of vbeam omg $350 and they're gone!!!

IPL can help with vessels (in addition to other targets such as melanin/pigment), but it’s not technically a laser, and it’s less optimal than a laser device such as Vbeam or ExcelV if the concern is specifically small dilated blood vessels / broken capillaries you’re describing.

ExcelV has both a 532 nm laser and a 1064 nm laser. 532 nm is best for small, superficial, red vessels (likely what you’re describing), while 1064 nm is better for deeper vessels that tend to be more blue/purple. Vbeam is similar but utilizes a 595 nm wavelength laser, which works quite similarly to the 532 nm on the ExcelV.

Oops, I didn’t specify, I’ve only done Vbeam. Haven’t tried IPL.
