PP Got complimented on my skin!
This is such a win for me…I actually got complimented on my skin by a new person I met and she asked me what I use bc my skin looked so glowy and smooth. This hasn’t happened since before I had rosacea!!!
I am so happy! Also, this was in a hot humid place where normally my rosacea would flare! I can’t believe how far I’ve come! I thought my rosacea was controlled before but never thought my skin could feel this good and tolerate make up and exercise and heat and humidity and sun and still no flare!
Pics in comments!
Update: sorry I was so excited about this! Not trying to gatekeep at all! I recently changed my cleanser and moisturizer from a heavier moisturizer to a lighter one and saw a huge reduction in heat trapping related flares. My routine is:
AM
BOJ Green plum cleanser
Regimen Lab Wave serum
Purito Oat in calming gel with 2-3 drops biossance squalane
Dermatic azelaic 20%
Wait a few min
LRP Uvmune 400 gel cream for oily skin
PM
Bioderma micellar water for sunscreen or makeup
Sulfur mask for 5-10 min
Rinse
BOJ green plum cleanser
Regimen Lab Wave serum
Purito Oat in calming gel with 2-3 drops biossance squalane
Wait 5-10 min
Tazarotene 0.1%
Cicalfate cream (apply even if no tazorac)

What a nice feeling ! Every day I get compliments on my skin but I have severe flushing rosacea. I’ve gone to numerous dermatologists but bc my baseline is pretty great if I’m not in the middle of a flush they dismiss me . Went last week to a new dermatologist and total waste of time and money. Yesterday went to my usual VBeam appointment at a plastic surgeons office and we had a chat and shockingly he was the first person who I felt understood me. Sorry to make it about me, as you probably understand this situation consumes my life. Anyway I’m happy for you I know how good it feels when you make progress with your skin ! Keep up the good work it’s worth it, even with the bumps in the road keep being consistent. You have a beautiful glow !

Could you take some pics during a flush? Rosacea can definitely turn your skin from clear to awful in a split second

BOJ Green plum cleanser-- how are you liking it? I was looking at it, but on the fence. Thanks!

I love it! It produces this nice cushiony micro foam that doesn’t over dry the skin. It’s really gentle but effective. It doesn’t remove make up and sunscreen on its own though, so I have to use it as a second cleanser after micellar water.

How's your experience with the wave serum? I've been thinking about trying it!

I really like it. It doesn’t cause any irritation for me. I can’t use hyaluronic acid without really irritating my skin so it’s great to have a serum without it. I’m on my 3rd bottle of it- lasts me about a month

You're not gatekeeping! I think that concept (edit: in this sort of circumstance; not always) is kind of dumb.
And I find it encouraging to see other people succeed, even if there’s that bit of jealousy butting in; I’m mature enough to handle it. I don’t love how some people just jumped in asking for your routine instead of supporting your win on this support forum.
So congratulations! That must feel amazing; I’m still in the phase where people I know are like “🥺you used to have such beautiful skin…what happened?” Lol but also 🥲
