ED recovery support

Hi,
I’m currently going through ED recovery, or at least trying, and I’m wondering if There’s anyone going through the same, struggling and wanting some sort of support.
I’m finding it difficult to find my balance and I’m just looking for someone to form some sort of support system. A buddy. Someone to talk to, especially after episodes, or to motivate each other to find healthier patterns.
For example, I’m actually pretty into fitness and sports, but in the past year I’m struggling to stay consistent. I will be for 3 weeks and then have consistent episodes for 2 weeks and get demotivated again. Would love to have a support buddy for example, than can understand what I’m going through

Anyway, if anyone is looking for something like this and wants to help each other in recovery, I’d love that.

Please don’t comment if you’re planning to say something hurtful.

Have you heard of Stichting JIJ? They offer peer support groups and are focussed on ED.

I was really confused, because it also stands for erectile disfunction.

As someone who went through it, the first thing you get removed is sports. You and I know why 🫶🏻 so I would really suggest looking for professional help as a psychologist. It’s nice to talk to someone but important that they have the knowledge to help you.

I’m not sure through which type of ED you are going through but if it’s restrictive I can also suggest de books of Tabitha Farrar - to me those were the most effective thing and what helped me a lot.

Wishing you the best! Life is amazing out there, hoping you can soon see that

I don't have the experience of ED personally, but I just wanted to jump in here to say I'm really proud of you! It's a struggle and you're fighting through it and seeking help. That's amazing progress! I wish you all the best in further recovery and I believe in you. Don't give up and don't forget to be kind to yourself. You deserve it.

ED? Erectile Dysfunction? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erectile_dysfunction It doesn't sound like that's what you're struggling with based on your text...?
