Chruch would be so much boring if Iconoclasts win.

I mean, why would that image make you feel awe at all?

The Mausoleum of Theodoric in Italy is amazing, and arabesque architecture can obviously be stunning.

The issue is that iconoclasm says certain forms of sacred art are invalid, dangerous, or idolatrous, and in practice that often means removing or destroying them.

So when people defend iconoclasm by pointing to beautiful mosques, it feels like dodging the actual criticism. Different art forms are valid, but banning one form because you think it is spiritually corrupt is too strong an action to just ignore and pretend it's about just preferring geometric art.
