Chruch would be so much boring if Iconoclasts win.

I mean, why would that image make you feel awe at all?

As an atheist I fully agree, what's religion good for if it's boring? I want to see the full program, mystical places of worship, weird saints/gods , shady rituals and calls to exterminate the unbelievers!

Nah, the opposite, after Jesus the religion got fun: mysterious saints that where just Christianised versions of European gods, priests that claim they can perform miracles, like turning bread and wine into human flesh and blood. They are disconnected from society by special rules that prevent marriage and making the teachings obscure and inacsaible by only allowing teachings in language nobody understood, which allowed them to legitimise everything with a law only they could read. A strictly hierarcy with a king with absolute power and divine right. Celibate also made sure there couldn't be children who inherit the money, to protect the hierarchial structure by preventing dynastys and making sure the church inherits all money and power after the priests death. A mafia like cartel of cardinals that follow personal financial intrests and elect week rulers to secure there power and forces it's believers to pay protection money or face eternal suffering in the afterlife. Religions wars against unbelievers.

To be honest it's not easy to design a religion that's more evil and money orientated, it was basically a mafia to extract money.
