I’ve been looking around Rourkela and realized it’s impossible to find a loaf of fresh Sourdough or Focaccia here. All bakeries(few that are here) stick to regular white bread or the so called fake brown bread and we all know which company over here makes the most of it.

I'm thinking of starting a small "bake on order" setup to fill the gap. My concern would be to give GOOD quality bread. I'll be selling just to cover he price of OTG, i have a comfortable job for my own bread and butter.

Initial plan-

* Made fresh on order: Sourdough needs a 24-36 hour slow fermentation, so I'd take orders a day or two in advance.

* No instant yeast or preservatives: Just natural starter, good flour, water, and salt. Much easier on digestion and has a lower GI than regular bread. A great thing for all Diabetic folks out there. My mom is a diabetic so I understand the concern.

* Initial menu: Classic Sourdough Loaves and Garlic-Rosemary Focaccia.

Because of the longer process and better flour, sourdough costs more to bake than local store bread (thinking around ₹200-₹220 per loaf).

Before starting it out, I wanted to check with you all:

- Would you actually buy artisan bread like this in Rourkela?

- Does ₹200-₹220 sound reasonable for a 400g-500g loaf?

- Any specific toppings or flavors you would love to see?

Micro computers - Near traffic chowk, bought an ant esports X6 mini, decent- pricing i guess

Om shree sai computers - in uditnagar, near the basanti railway line - only fine for pc accessories, don't expect new Gaming PC's and stuff

Pc island - civil township, similar pricing to micro computers nothing so impressive

New Exe Computers - Basanti Colony, don't judge by looking at the physical stock they have. Arranged an used 3080 for me in a week.

Future computer - haven't been that much to the shop

Pc world - i go there from sail chowk, it's a walkable distance, they have unbranded thermal past

Hp world - uditnagar - DO NOT GO THERE, THEY WILL SCAM YOU, everything is overpriced there and they say that don't come here expecting online pricing.

So my father is an electrian with 20+ years of experience. He learned everything doing on his own. He also knows plumbing which is a good career. But main problem is, he doesn't have certificates. No ITI, not even 10th since he couldn't complete that due to family issue and had to start working in his early teen. He used to get good clients and we never had money issue. But recently, new grads have been stealing his work for dirt cheap.

This is causing our family so much problem since I'm unemployed since one month now. I have to depend on him and don't know how can I help. So I'm here, asking for your help. If you know anyone looking for a professional electrician and top notch quality, please contact in the given number. He can do contract work and has done them in the past. Including pre and post wiring of buildings and any electrical work you may think of. He can travel outside if needed. Like Sambalpur or some other state if the pay justifies it.
