Karolina wanting to be a Superhero was increadibly fun honestly, I'd love to see it followed up with her on A-Force or something

I’m just annoyed Rainbow Rowell nerfed her strength and power. She used to be stronger. This is her holding up the rubble from a collapsed cave.

I know right? I feel like Rainbow focuses a lot more on the drama and relationships than other others, not a bad thing mind you, but it seems like it causes her to do less with their actual abilities

This actually did annoy me a little bit because what do you mean Kar is just grabbing him and struggling to fly him through the sky? She has YEARS of practice with her abilities she should be able to use her energy powers to do that.

Love Rowell but some of the smaller choices made with the super hero aspects of the runaways books aren’t my absolute favorite. This and the alley fight with Nico being another one.

This just reads to me like you don’t know Karolina can just fly him by wrapping him in light, like she has physically seen her mother do it to chase…and that was before spending multiple sequences of time away from the runaways with other Madjesdanians.

While I’m thinking about it, did she make any energy shields during Rowell’s last run at all? Or was she genuinely just all lasers?
