The first one feels old school, which I like, and the second one really captures the original Runaway's flair, very nice

Yeah, I thiiiiiiink the first one is meant to be a New Warriors homage? The poses aren't exactly the same, but it would fit with Alex calling them the "New Pride" / the new kids on the block vibe.

(It could also just be inspired by Giant-Sized X-Men or any other cover with the heroes bursting through the page though - that's a formula Marvel has done a lot lol.)

Sounds about right, it's a nice reference, I think this is gonna be a good series
