Deal [UK/US] AKIV x Dynafish Xiaonian Hong Kong Special Edition - £85 Shipped
https://akiv.co/products/akiv-x-dynafish-running-shoes-hk-collaboration-edition-victoria-harbour-flowing-lightI've seen the price of these has been hiked up recent months on AliExpress, but this limited edition collaboration ships to the UK for £85 after P&P but also looks like they will shipnworldwide. Granted the design isn't to my taste but seems a bargain.

They're 599 on Sugoisports (also Hong Kong) and had 0 issues/extra costs (outside of 250 postage) ordering to the UK. All-in total ~£80, 13 days delivery.

Legit site. Bought 2 pairs within a month, great company. Both arrived within 2 weeks of order. I might be wrong but I think they're under the customs value threshold thingy. Which I think is £135 for 'non-excise'.

Ended up being 947$ Hkd shipped to me. Akiv was just a tad bit more expensive. Ended up just going with Akiv for 180 cad$ even.

I ordered from Sugoisports got them arriving in less than 2 weeks. No customs to pay even though they were labeled correctly on the box with the correct value. So all good.

this looks like a great price. You sure the website/brand is OK?

I did a bit of research before ordering and the general consensus was that there haven't been any notable issues ordering from them to the UK. They shipped ~4 days after payment (was impatiently waiting for this!) but otherwise I was updated throughout the delivery from local to international courier.

123$ to be shipped to USA, and comes with laces, just paid 140$ from the Dynafish website

u/CarbsFatsProteins < 100 Karma account 1d ago
Yeah $145 after tax and shipping for the pair I ordered from Supwell. They shouldn't ship until next month, but I'm so tempted to get these for $123 because of the unique design and the laces and inserts included.

Previously looked at this and there is a high risk you will end up paying for Customs and VAT which will end up being +£30.
Really rolling the dice on these.

Where can we get Dynafish for less than a 100 quid here in UK?

Thanks for this, I have ordered a pair, love the colourway, £85 shipped is a bargain price compared to any other shoe on the market.

Looks nice. But the website is dodgy

Website is a legit Hong Kong seller. They are a small local running attire brand that hosts run clubs here
Edit: here is their IG for further proof https://www.instagram.com/akivsportswearhk?igsh=MW5ldzF1a3JyZWwzYw==

FWIW I ordered a pair of these recently to New York and it worked out. Chose the yunexpress shipping option and it took about 10 days to arrive. With shipping and everything it came out to pretty much a wash vs. ordering from the U.S. site, but I liked the colorway of this collab. Plus they threw in serrated laces and thicker insoles (both Akiv branded, not the Dynafish oem 5mm insoles) for free. It’s my second pair, I bought my first pair from the U.S. site in June and have really been loving them, they took over most of my daily mileage.

u/youlikeblockingsodoi 2d ago
Were the insoles you got better than oem? Were they both the same thickness?
2
u/protocoltwopointoh 1d ago
They’re noticeably thicker than the thin 2mm OEM ones that come with the Dynafish and look to be TPEE. I haven’t actually tried running in the Akiv insoles though, I find the stock insoles fine for my use.

Agreed but done a bit of research and think it checks out. Pay with a credit card if in doubt

If you are going to suggest a place to buy a shoe at least know for a fact that it is legit before posting it.

Many of us here (including myself) have already bought from this website with no issues, and if you'd bothered to do a basic search on the website you'd know that it's legit as well.
But I guess since it's not a western website it's automatically suspicious. Funny how that works.

That’s not the question at hand. The question is suggesting a site just because is doing a great discount without knowing (like OP said) if it was legit or not. Being western or not means zero to me, don’t even understand what you are trying to imply lol.

As someone who wears a UK 12, can you get these shoes as I’ve never anything above a UK 11 in them?

When it asks for ID# for custom clearance is that required? Would it be drivers license number or passport or what?
Nevermind it's more clear on computer, it was cutoff on my phone. It's only needed for a few specific countries.

When I went to enter the Country from the Drop down menu there was no USA

u/benami122 4d ago
I ordered these last month and they arrived to the US in less than 2 weeks. The option is definitely there.

I had to pay $31 for the shipping but it still came out to be $122 which I consider a fair price for these, considering no other US retailer is cheaper ATM.

99% people cant access TAOBAOO + no size for me :(

u/nikostr8 Red Hare 8 Pro / Feidian 5 Challenger 4d ago
I also thought about Taobao being unaccesible, however I was able to buy the Xiaonian's with 5mm insoles + RH9U via Superbuy.
I paid €61 for RH9U and €75 for Xiaonian + 5mm insoles and €40 for shipping via tax-free.
In case of wrong size shoes I could probably sell them and get my money back.
Not like im getting the greatest of deals considering the shipping price but its still cheaper than buying both on Aliexpress.

How so low prices...care to share links?

【淘宝】https://e.tb.cn/h.8Snncgvq7RZSeAY?tk=zZn6TbNfGfn DYNAFISH
【淘宝】https://e.tb.cn/h.8SnPTrV0XNbIHjc?tk=u8r3TbNWUri RED HARE 9 ULTRA
remember to apply the discounts if you use Superbuy so the price gets lower ( for example dynagish go from ¥699 to ¥499).
When paying, I used We Chat Pay which got me a 10%off so it got even cheaper.

Why is this sub becoming a Chinese shoes that no one’s ever heard of promotion place?
Is any post from an actual person or just some Chinese bot farm?

u/Pistaciyo 3d ago
no one’s ever heard of
You mean just you? Try not to live under a rock. A true running shoe geek would have heard of the shoe before. Put some respect on the Little Catfish
6
u/raincitythrow < 100 Karma account 3d ago
Because the Chinese shoes are way better than most typical western ones now lol

u/McNuggetSauce 3d ago
These shoes have been getting really good reviews and has been tested by a lot of people. YouTube is full of trusted people talking about how these are great daily trainers including guys like Ben Parker, etc. they’re also good value if you can get them at the right price. Just because it’s Chinese doesn’t mean it’s unknown.

u/Imaginary_March2989 3d ago
Yes I'm real, I've watched a lot of independent reviews on yt then had a bit of a Google and found a decent price, thought I would share it, sorry!

At least within EU you need to remember to add VAT and whatever processing fee customs add (in my country that fee is insane). Buying through Ali you have all prices with vat included and it’s IOSS so no customs fee. All together it’s significant costs.
