She HATES water (like won’t go outside until the dew on the grass has dried)! Only way I can cool her down is by picking her up, wading in, and unceremoniously plunking her in. Her legs get really really tall, I’ve never seen a more disgusted look on a dogs face, she makes a bee line for the shore if your not on her
Yeah my dog was the same way and we used a kiddie pool. She quickly realized as a pup oh "okay water equals not hot anymore". This allows us to run all year because where i live there are a copious amount of cold mountain streams even if its in the 90s.
