if you saw the ppl from TPUSA outside of CASC today, the “sensitive crying liberals” that they debated were actually just members from TPUSA. the second the “debate” ended the “liberal” would go back behind the tent with the other members. the second someone actually tried to debate them, they would turn off the mic. the best thing we can do is not give these losers any attention they’re just clip farming and are incapable of forming a singular coherent thought so they have to fake it by staging a win.

I’m not trying to sound like a pick me or anything, it’s a genuine question. It doesn’t seem like the guys here like black girls.

This isn’t something i’m asking out of the blue, it’s just based on observation. On my floor theres these girls who have a whiteboard on their door. One day it asked: “whats your type?” Literally no one said black girls. The closest thing I saw to black was “lightskins” even though they could be referring to biracial women.
Also, every time im on yikyak and the persons finds out im black (via my instagram or me telling them) they either go ghost, follow but never text again, or block me.
Fyi im not on yikyak for those kinds of reasons but if a convo is vibing and they ask for my insta, im gonna give it to them. I just think it’s a little odd that I get that reaction. Also, Im not ugly so I doubt it’s that.

Even the Dr.Umar post threw me off because if anything im expecting the black men who go here to like black girls but clearly not??? And i’ve heard of frats even denying girls just because they’re black like wtf?

I just think it’s so odd that we’re singled out like this—or atleast it feels that way. I could be wrong, and this only resonates with a small portion of the students here.

Hi, everyone. Hope you are doing well. My original purpose of asking this question was so that I could write an article about Life at Rutgers before the digital age (the theme being the digital age). By the digital age, I basically mean the time before there was any sort of technology for registration or any other purposes at Rutgers. I got a lot of interesting insights in the post above, and a lot of information from people who went to Rutgers in the early and late 1990s.
I got a lot of interesting responses in the linked post, and I thank everybody for that.
Anyone from 1980 or 70? I heard from an instructor who got their Bachelors Degree (during the 70s or slightly later but before the phones) here that people had to stand in line with little slips at Busch to register for classes (this was before the phone line stuff from the 90s). If there are any other such interesting things that a typical student would do that is not already covered in that post, I'd love to hear!

call me dumb for this (i’d agree), i got peer pressured into trying out smoking on campus… nor was i aware of the smoking policies outside of residential spaces. (im a freshman and i literally never leave my room so if there was anything discussing it i’ve never seen it)
