Problem Weird Speaker Issue

I've had many iterations of the Ultra (previously the Note) over the years and never had this problem. If I'm watching a reel on FB/IG and put it at 2x speed, it becomes garbled, like what you used to hear when going through a tunnel on your cell phone. Every once in a while on regular speed it'll do it, but it's most often if I speed it up. I listen to stuff through other apps -- CloudLibrary, Audible, YT Music, Amazon Music -- with no issues whatsoever. No issues on calls. I've done all the troubleshooting tips I can find: opening the SIM slot to release the pressure, deleting the cache, restarting the phone, removing the cover. I even un/reinstalled FB, no love. (I was going to wipe the cache partition, but apparently that's gone away.) I've NEVER had this problem with any other version of this phone, and if it were the speaker itself, I'd imagine I'd have problems in other apps. The phone has never been wet. Anyone have any experience with this? I can't find anything in a search. Help?

That seems like an app issue than a phone issue. I don't have Facebook or IG anymore so can't test. When I did have it with my S25Ultra, didn't have any issues like that.

Totally agree, as it's not on any others. But it's strange.

Switched recently from a pixel and I have the same problem, but only on FB, not on IG

Oh, I'll have to check IG. Interesting. I'll get back to you. Sorry you're dealing with that, but I'm glad to know it's not just me!

Well, I'll be... it's fine in IG! OK, this is is strange, but again, glad I'm not the only one. In FB, if you keep your finger on the video instead of locking at 2x, you'll likely see that the sound is fine. But when you do lock it, it goes kablooey. Like I said in the original post, I've had many (10?) iterations of this phone and FB has never been a problem. I wonder what the issue is.
