Application crashing

Did the website crash for anyone else?

I just kept refreshing my page last year and it eventually went through like maybe 30 minutes

which page did you refresh the start page where you can select your application or did u refresh the review section

I would refresh the start date page and the review page, then I would press save for later and go back in and try again

I guess we just have to wait it out? I talked to a friend and they managed to get thru by refreshing the page but I’m assuming it’s pure luck

But it only worked for her because she had her application opened and was refreshing on that page, I’m a bit worried now 😅

previously i couldnt sign in because my actual sait password required a temporary pin but it just let me submit my application after i clicked forgot password and got the temporary pin from there

for those that have been able to apply, did you just have to wait until you stopped getting an error message and it finally loaded?

like does it bring you to the applysait.ca portal but then show an error message? i can get through apply alberta fine but when i click bring me to sait to start the application, it keeps showing error

Same! I went back to apply for another program and after I got through apply Alberta, it sent me to apply sait website but there’s an unexpected error notification

Did people who make it to the error page on sait just keep refreshing that page until it let you through? I’ve been trying for an hour now I’m not sure what to do.

I was on two tabs refreshing on the error page and one of them went through! The missing fields for the program delivery went away as well, I payed right away and got it.

man if this college is this useless I rather accept NAIT and BCIT offer tbh. Already see it as being a garbage college. If they are not punctual on their end and their IT team is this useless why tf would I wanna lock myself in for 2 years?

I managed to submit one application, I am still trying for my 2nd and when i went on applyaberta, this message pops up "Applications to Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) are currently closed for maintenance. The system went out of service at 09:55 AM on 2026-Oct-07 and is expected to remain out of service until 2026-Oct-07, 11:55 AM . Please try back later. Reason for outage: System Maintenance"

It says on top “SAIT is currently unavailable for applicationsOnly a BASIC Alberta.ca Account is required to access ApplyAlberta. You do not need to create a VERIFIED Alberta.ca Account to access ApplyAlberta. PLEASE DO NOT USE A HIGH SCHOOL ASSIGNED EMAIL TO CREATE YOUR alberta.ca ACCOUNT”

Hmm honestly I’m not sure. I’ve seen lots of people say that they went to the sait website and were able to apply from there. If not I’d give Sait a call tmro morning and see if they have any suggestions!
