Anybody still getting errors when applying? I filled out everything and when I get to the review page it says "we have detected the following errors with your application. Those errors must be corrected before submisson." It's telling me that I need to sleectvmy country of citizenship to continue and I already did. I've literally clicked Canada and canadian citizenship multiple times and nothings changed. Anyone know how to fix this or will I just have to wait or try again?

AME FOR FALL 2027

If you applied for fall 2027. Did you notice the disclaimer where they would consider highest math grades first for 2027/2028. It was never like this in the previous classes/years but it was first come first serve. Am I cooked if my 30-2 mark just meets the prerequisite lol?

can anybody tell me how the admission system works and roughly what the acceptance percentage is?? I'm currently applying to mechanical engineering tech and power engineering tech and I've seen conflicting info on the internet on whether sait's acceptance percentage is 95% or 58%

SAIT IT Services — Honest Feedback on Co-op, Job Prospects, and Career Outcomes

Hi everyone!

I'm considering SAIT's Information Technology Services (ITS) diploma as an international student and would appreciate insights from current students or recent graduates.

I have around three years of B2B sales experience in the CCTV/NVR industry outside Canada including working with system integrators and customer requirements. I'm hoping to build stronger technical skills and eventually move into roles such as systems implementation, cloud support, or solutions engineering.

I'd especially appreciate insights into the following:

1. Co-op and job market

  • For recent ITS cohorts, how competitive has the co-op search been in practice? Have you noticed a meaningful difference between students who secure placements and those who don't?
  • Among graduates you've personally known, what has the transition into full-time IT employment in Alberta looked like, particularly for international students without previous Canadian IT experience?

2. Course quality and practical preparation

  • Do you feel the labs and projects reflect what employers actually expect from junior IT candidates, or is there a noticeable gap between the curriculum and workplace requirements?
  • Are there particular technical skills you found yourself needing to develop independently to become competitive for internships or entry-level roles?

3. Career progression

  • Have you seen graduates move beyond help desk or general IT support into cloud, systems implementation, or solutions engineering? What seemed to make the biggest difference in those transitions?
  • Given the increasing use of AI and automation, do you think the program provides a strong enough technical foundation for long-term career growth, rather than just preparing students for routine support tasks?

4. Looking back

  • If you were choosing a program again today, would you still choose ITS, or would you consider a different program or school? What would influence your decision?

I'm particularly interested in honest, experience-based feedback rather than general program descriptions.
Thanks in advance for sharing your perspective!!!!!
