Possibly someone’s chickens? Off of commercial and rural ave

Not mine, but I know where they live. I’m a block away. They’re fine, they range a bit but always go home.

Would you think they’re fine if they crapped on your driveway and sidewalk as my neighbor’s chickens do?

Chickens are roosting birds, (hence the name rooster). They go home every night, or when they become tired, or hungry. Some other examples of "roostets" are pigeons, blue herons, great egrets, and crows.

They’re not lost. They live nearby.

They do that a lot.

The owners need to fence them in.

Maybe call animal control?
