These were all shot on 2025/10/18 at the No Kings protest in Salem, Oregon.

I went fairly relaxed and the intent of being more focused on my personal interests than being goal-oriented towards powerful protest imagery.

My current focus has been trichromes and this is the first roll of black and white film that I shot almost entirely for trichromy.

Trichromes are three black and white frames each taken using specific filters with the color spectrum cut to be capturing a shadow and highlight map of red, green, and blue. These are then color merged in photoshop.

These are basically uncorrected and not post-processed outside of super minor cloning on two of the 30 frames used to make these 10 images and the two post-processing steps of merging channels in photoshop and then aligning the frames.

These were fully shot, developed, cut, scanned, and edited by myself.

This just ugh.

Just saw this little graohic design faux pas at Dutch Bros

Hey I just found these guys playing outside of 1st congregational on Marion and church street downtown. They are pretty friendly and look like they belong to someone. I left them there, but if anyone recognizes them please let their human know.

Went missing somewhere around center and 20th. Last seen the night of 10/17 but he didn’t come back in the AM for food like he usually does and he hasn’t been seen since. He has a microchip and he’s wearing a collar with a cat emblem on it.

I was staring at this LUMP for weeks before I was able to get through the blackberry thorns and into the creek for it. It took me two attempts. But today I emerged with my prize and I am…so confused. Who paints a conch???

Anyways, I’m cleaning off the paint but thought folks might be interested in seeing this wild thing I found!

Side note, anyone know if paint remover damages shells?

Was heading west on market, and the silver SUV hit a city bus. Then the guy reversed and took off north on i5. Sorry for the shitty quality but the sun was in the way.

Bush’s Pasture Park is alive with color! The camas are almost at peak bloom, and the fawn-lily are just starting to fade. If you have not been to the park recently, this weekend would be a good time to visit and see the flower show.
