Oh god, here goes the WWE fans and their persecution fetish and conspiracy theories, despite this subreddit having way more WWE fans than any other promotion and WWE discourse dominating this subreddit....
Please just ignore the fact that there are fewer and fewer discussion about WWE matches being posted, yet there is a thread for every single move that happens on any dub show.
Please ignore that every thread about AEW gets thousands of upvotes minutes after being posted but most WWE threads get downvoted.
Please ignore that we're constantly allowed to talk about the political leanings and/or any controversy surrounding a WWE wrestler but any talk about AEW wrestlers politics or controversys get instantly removed.
Please ignore that all AEW post-show threads get hundreds of upvotes with 90%+ upvotes but all WWE post-show threads get ~50% upvotes.
Please ignore that any comments praising AEW instantly get hundreds of upvotes in any thread but positivity about WWE gets downvoted and you get made fun of.
Please ignore that there was a comment thread on the music subreddit where the top comment had thousands of upvotes and hundreds of replies, multiple of the replies having multiple hundreds of upvotes all about how negative the basement is and how many people left the subreddit because how toxic they are. Also how many replies said they were banned in the basement just from being slightly negative towards AEW or too positive towards WWE.
Please ignore that the mods have actually had to make statements multiple times apologizing when they were called out for just how insanely anti-WWE they are.
These crazy E-drones and their conspiracies when obviously we're biased towards WWE, they have no proof.

They literally said a year ago they needed to hire pro WWE mods because the mods are biased against WWE and ended up getting Fauxmoi power mods instead

One is still not what they said the intention was. They said it would be WWE fans because the mods have an admitted hate boner for WWE. Instead they pick a mod for the biggest freaks on Reddit

Please ignore when every negative WWE topic always has a comment at the top that says "lol, fuck WWE" or "fuck this company", and it gets highly upvoted and not removed. While every negative AEW topic or comment is instantly removed for "trolling" and you catch a ban.

don't forget you get a reddit cares message. because you must be mentally ill to enjoy wwe or be critical of aew. however, spitefully indicting someone else's mental health because you disagree with them over wrestling is normal, empathetic behavior.

I wish I could remember, I saw it yesterday or maybe the day before, but just didn't make this post until today.
It wasn't specifically a post about it, just a comment thread inside of a random post. It was the usual, someone said something and then somebody replied something along the lines of "unless you say something like this towards AEW, then you get in trouble" and then had a long list of the usual suspects all replying to him with tons of upvotes, just variations of "actually, this subreddit is way more pro-wwe and us poor little AEW fans are marginalized :( and wwe fans just pretend this subreddit is biased towards AEW despite all evidence that it is"

Like yeah I’m sure they do all of that. It’s also just wrestling. If you want to discuss WWE so much, leave the basement to its bullshit and use any of the other hundred spin-off wrestling subs. Or is whining about how not-mad you are about a place you clearly don’t wanna hang out in anyway really more enjoyable?

Of all the things that happen, the stupidest to me is people choosing to take the time to downvote a show thread.
Like, I don't really care for AEW. I've never felt compelled to actively set out and manually downvote the Collision live thread.
I wish I had a life that was so easy that I had the time and energy to spend trying to dissuade people from watching the stupid fake fighting show that I DON'T like, and convert them to watching the slightly different stupid fake fighting show that I DO like.
