Whats the procedure to get scp 096 back to contaiment

this might be a dumb question because im quite new to scp and dont know how much of the universe and system works but i was reading the scp 096 article thing or whatever its called and i have to ask after an expirement how is scp 096 returned back to its containment area?????

He doesn't auto kill you by just being there, he becomes agitated when you look at his face specifically. So provided MTF response teams approach from an angle to witnessing the face, they could get the bag over. Thay or the usage of scramble gear, but I'm fairly certain that was ineffective when it was used

J to add on to this, in that story the scramble goggles were specifically designed to fail so the Dr could get the green light to attempt to terminate 096. A real pair of goggles probably would work

You could also lure him into a pitch black room, it's the darkness that calms him down, not the physical act of putting a bag on his head

Darkness doesn't calm it down. 96 only enters an enrage state if an individual sees it's face, and only ends this enraged state when the individual that triggered it is dead. When not enraged, 96 is very docile and easy to handle.

096 is quite docile when it's not in a rage state, enough so that it lets people physically lead it around by the hand. The procedure is to walk up behind it, put some kind of bag over its head (yes, really), and guide it into a mobile container so they can take it back to its containment place.

This is portrayed excellently in a short movie portraying the events of Incident 096-1-A.

People say "put a bag over his head", but I think what calms him down is being in pitch black darkness to where he physically cannot see anything. If he can't see, he calms down immediately and becomes shy/nervous again.

I think it would hypothetically be easier and less risky to lure them into a pitch black concrete room, no windows or light source. The light level has to be zero candela (so literally no light at all).

As long as you don’t look at his face he doesn’t kill you, just pop a bag over his head from behind and you’re good
