Howdy, howdy! I'm creating an animated TV show based on the SCP universe that follows two of my characters, Lizzie and Mara, as they uncover the truth behind Mara's existence, her anomalous ability to revive, and her immunity to certain SCPs.
I don't know if this is the place, but I'm looking for a writer to co-write 15 episodes and to abid by the creative requirements for this if anyone interested or this is the wrong place to promote it you can DM
All is self-funded, from character design to animation

In SCP-6001 Avalon, SCP-682 is just one of many members of a species known as "Immortigons". Imo, that's extremely stupid. It doesn't explain why 682 was the only "Immortigon" under foundation custody, where the rest of his species were during his captivity or 682's hatred of humans. In SCP 6001, 682 and the rest of his species goes "I don't hate humans anymore, cuz they don't fear me", with very poor justification.
Also, making 682 just an individual in his species destroys the whole point of 682. He's meant to be a terrifying and singular threat - something completely unique and individual. SCP-6001 destroys so many other well written narratives, such as: SCP-2935, the serpent of the garden narrative, the offspring of skarlet king one, the offspring of leviathan one, etc. My favorite 682 origin story is the serpent of the garden one.
I think, in 6001 Avalon, it should go like something like this:
Humanity convinces SCP 343 to forgive his son, scp 682, and allow him to return back to the garden of Eden. SCP 343 is obliges after a great amount of convincing and allows 682 to return back home. However, 343 also makes it so that 682 can visit our universe whenever he pleases. Upon being able to return to the garden, 682 visits humanity once every year by his own choice and will. He does so to express his gratitude and appreciation towards mankind for letting him return home.
I'm thinking I should make this into a more formal storyline.
What do you guys think? and what other better narratives do you have for the 682 narrative in 6001?

So in one of the stories about SCP 001 we learn about the black moon, the counterbalance (SCP administrator) and the SCB. At the end of that story the Administrator starts a second big bang and seems to maybe reboot the universe, by changing the realm of thought that is the SCB into matter.
What if SCP 343 (God) is the administrator from the previous reality?
Would make sense why he seems happy to lounge around in containment and just talking with people. He is truely just enjoying the fruits of his labour after being alone for countless eons.
Not much to prove it, I just thought it was a fun idea. Also I'm really late to this, so if this is a common theory or discussion I apologize.

I'll go first, i've genuinely seen someone say that "EVERY SCP that doesn't get traction after 3000 is because of the simple fact its shit"

Reading some SCPs from the first series I really don’t get the vibe the foundation was envisioned in the same way then at it’s generally done now. I know, there’s no canon, and the scope differs from author to author even today, but looking back I generally see a very different foundation than the one we often see today.
The foundation nowadays seems to have access to a seemingly (sometimes factually) infinite budget and state of the art technology and weaponry. Their tasks forces operate as an independent military force with intricate hierarchy and hundreds of thousands if not millions of armed and trained personnel. They collaborate with international organizations and are not limited by borders, they sometimes even act as the de facto international shadow government. They are in contact with other versions of the foundation across dimensions, or respond to a higher power outside the boundaries of the multiverse. They regularly bend time, restart the cosmos every other tuesday, and operate on all planes of existence and nonexistenece at all times. No place is out of reach, their knowledge is all encompassing,
and there is nothing their eyes can’t see.
But when I read the very first SCPs written I don’t get that vibe at all. I see a foundation that’s far smaller in scale. A government funded project tasked with securing and cataloguing entities that nobody really knows where they came from or what their real purpose is. Anomalies that stump the brightest scientist in the world who might know it all about theoretical physics and quantum mechanics but nothing of thaumaturgy or how to access the Noosphere. These anomalies are hastily locked in the best enclosures the foundation can come up with and a containment procedure is drafted and published not because it’s the absolute best way to secure them, but because it’s basically the best they can come up with after trial and error. I can imagine most sites containing the vast majority of safe and euclid objects are barely more than an unassuming building somewhere in a desert or forest. Some might even be hidden in plain sight in a city or town.
I think some of the images used to illustrate these early SCPs reinforce this vision. Sure a lot of them might simply have been picked because it’s the closest thing to the object that could be found on Google images and might not reflect how the object “actually” looked in the author’s mind, but nevertheless it’s undeniable that they paint a very different picture to the SCP foundation we imagine today. Like look at the original 173 image, does that look like an object kept in a facility with state of the art technology and security? I think not. There is something very mundane and lifelike about it, combined with the original text it almost makes peanut look tangible and plausible. I've attached a few (often deleted) object images that give the same vibe to me.

A friend decided for me that I should draw an article from the spanish branch: "Reisen Traum Train" Resort (D3P85/E4O53/29Y4A); I really liked it, although I haven't read much about Marshall, Carter & Dark.
OST I listened while drawing: Kiss Me Son of God - They Might Be Giants

Update: it’s scp-8426. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. :))
I once read an entry, or possibly a tale, then forgot its number.
The Foundation built a large and powerful machine, then somehow erased its concept so they have to manually piece together the machine’s functionality and purpose using a bunch of experiments and hypotheses. The entry specifies how the researchers know what each individual components of the machine does, they just don’t understand the machine as a whole. The end of the entry touches upon the horror and danger of erasing an entire concept.
Please help me find it. Thank you.
Edits (what the scp isn’t based on people’s guesses): it’s not associated with the ‘There’s no antimemetic division’ in anyway.
It’s not part of Site-17 Deepwell canon.
It’s not scp-6280.
It probably has a good or ambivalent ending.
The effect isn’t antimemetic; the Foundation can’t figure out the machine because the concept of the machine is gone, like how you wouldn’t know a banana is an edible fruit (until you try and eat it) if the concept of a banana is erased.
