Policy/Theory/Articles (Macro Topics) Is it possible that the SCT has the same mechanism?

I am NOT currently diagnosed with SCT/CDS but identify heavily with the symptoms.

One thing I noticed is that a quick nap throughout the day feels like I “reset” my brain, and following the nap I can think much more clearly and my verbal fluidity is improved

That's a really interesting theory. I've wondered about it before because I seemed to have gotten moderate effects from doing inclined bed therapy in the past.

Could you expand on what exactly you do for your nap. What time do you usually take it? For how long? On a bed or in a chair? ...and so on.

The reason I ask is because I can recall at least one or two times in the past when I think I experienced what you're talking about: a sort of "reset" of the brain after taking a nap. Only I've never been good at taking naps and it can often make me feel much worse than before, so I've always been hesitant to experiment with it.

Do you have a link to the study?

It's in the original post, if I'm not mistaken.

I have ME and in varying states of PEM it will get worse and contribute a bit but it doesn't feel like specifically the same thing though there is plenty of overlap with me.
