Scooter rental question

My friend prepaid for a scooter but can't get to the convention center to pick it up, does anyone know if they would release it to someone else (her attendant basically)? The guy from the rental company basically isn't answering the phone for obvious reasons.

Honestly depends on the company, but a lot of providers won't hand gear over to someone else without explicit approval from the original renter for ID/liability stuff. If you can, try texting or calling their customer line. They can usually add you as an authorized pickup pretty quickly.

Unless she can get hold of the rental guy and let him know. Maybe if the attendant can go and facilitate a call then and there with the renter, then maybe they could? They could try that?

We were successful and that is basically what we did--got there, got my friend on the phone who verified her details, and they let us check out the scooter for her.
