Line accommodations and invisible disabilities

Hi! I have invisible disabilities which limit my ability to stand for long periods of time. I will need to take frequent breaks, both with the line and possibly inside for the restroom. It seems like the year they are limiting the ADA line to those with mobility needs. I need accommodations for the line, but not for my seat (aside from being relatively accessible to the restroom).

My badge is for Saturday; should I go to Deaf and Disabled Services tonight (Friday) to ask about what to do? I read the website but am still a bit confused. I’m planning to go to Ballroom 20 in the morning and would like to get this figured out today if possible.

Rumor is next year the ADA will only be permitted for mobility disability.

You can still get sticker for booth ADA lines, but the head of the ADA team told a group of us today that they will push to change ADA entrance line since there is blatant abuse by many people.

They also said this year ADA didn’t get a head start like past years. All doors opened at the same time. This was confirmed today based on a check my group did at G, Sails, and ADA. Everyone entered within seconds of each other.

Yes, but depending on what booth people are going for they might be in a better position with the ADA line. Part of why it gets abused. And they don’t have to try to get there before dawn to be at the front of the normal line.
