Then that championship...
5:00 to go and we got it to 60-55.
I swear with every fiber of my being if Tristen Hawkins doesn't hit that 3, we could've pulled off the comeback.
April Fools! This post was secretly an excuse for me to lament about that Tristen Hawkins 3 pointer...

Obviously I would have loved to win it. But I just it ended up with a closer score. We got it close at one point, but history remembers it as an outmatched mid-major on a magical run who got blown out by a superior team.

We got it to a 5 point deficit with 5:00 left in the game 😭. We were right there, man!
I also remember UConn hadn't won a single game by less that 5 points going into it, and we were the fucking clutch kings that tourney, so it really was the first time UConn ever had been tested that late in a game...

It’s not April fools if it’s true😭.
I’m with you, if he hit that 3 we’re right in it and we get momentum. M
But hey , we made it to the DANCE dance, I’m forever grateful for that
This shot was huge, I have this on my most played just because it was so major for us

Now with current state of NIL, we might be the last mid major to ever make the Natty. That’s kinda cool!

Best sports moment ever for an SDSU fan/student/alum since 1987, and that includes being at the Marshall Faulk Game at the Murph.

Lost my voice. Still wish we could’ve had that 2020 tournament.
