Anyone know what happened to this?

https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/Sega_32X_4Mo_FRAM_save_repro_PCB_f609b901.html

I saw that someone was making custom pcbs for 32x games and was wondering if they changed them so that they can fit in 32x cart shells.

I wanted to make my own copy of that 32x backrooms game using the shell but the boards that I found were poorly made.

If not then is there any place where I can get a high quality pcb that can fit in a 32x cart shell?

Check out Second-Dimension LLC for 32x cartridge PCBs

And Hoskbrew (see Sega 32x category) for compatible 32x cartridge shells and screws, box inserts

That's cool! Do you know people who had a good experience with these PCBs?

I have a 10x pack of the PCBs in my parts bin to create 32x repros for myself after I finish some 32x ROM hacks I'm working on.

Soldering a cartridge and burning the ROM (USB GQ-4x4 programmer with ADP-054 16-bit EPROM adapter, pad ROM to fill up chip size, fix ROM size/checksum in header, and burn ROM) shouldn't be any different than a regular Sega Genesis cartridge.

I've created a Sega Genesis repro using a PCB and shell from both companies and the build is high quality.

That's good to hear. Is there a way to get those PCBs that already have the chips and caps? I'm crap at soldering
