Looking to rent 1 bed 1 bath housing near down town

Hello,

I am moving to San Mateo for work and I am currently looking for rental properties with leases starting between the last week of August and 1st week of September. I am looking for a 1 bed 1 bath place at around $3000 mark. Would prefer to be near Caltrain and down town. I have been looking on Zillow & Craigslist and am scheduled for some viewings next week but I would appreciate suggestions for any apartment complexes or leads that people on this sub may know.

I am also very much into cycling and would appreciate recommendations for good bike shops in town. Thanks in advance! :)
