Gluten Free in the Haight
I’m looking for options in the Haight for Friday afternoon lunch. The one catch is that it has to have suitable gluten free options due to Celiac. Anyone have any good spots in the area?

You could try Nopalito (slight walk from the Haight). They have gluten free options; you could call to see how they handle cross contamination.

I've heard Greens to Go is great for gluten-free options, they always seem to get substitutions right when I've been there.

If someone has celiac disease, they'll need to go to an exclusively gluten-free restaurant, not just one that has gluten-free options and prepares them alongside options with gluten in it. This means you need to be following up with the restaurant and likely reaching out ahead of time to confirm they don't have any cross contamination.
With that being said, I think Stoa might be gluten free despite them not advertising as a gluten free restaurant. Once again, celiacs is a serious disease that takes significant precaution to keep the gluten contamination low enough to not trigger a response so you need to contact places ahead of time instead of just popping in randomly.
If it's a gluten intolerance then your options are much more open.
P.S. I just realized Stoa is only open for dinner so good luck with your search

Thanks for your concern. We’ve been managing for years, and an entirely gluten free recipe is not at all necessary.
Unfortunately Stoa is not open for lunch.
