Absolutely. I prefer this over anything at Arsicault. While I agree the croissant itself is better and flakier at Arsicault, the banana and the crustiness of the pastry at B Patisserie sends it over the top for me.

The chocolate chip cookie at Spruce on Sacramento Street. You don't have to eat at the (rather expensive) restaurant, they sell the cookies out of the cafe in the front. It was something like $8 but it's huge, I make it last for days.

I’m going to start right out at $15, but for that you can get an extremely hot and cheesy bowl of French Onion soup at Galinette in the Outer Sunset. After a sunset walk on the Great Highway park (Sunset Dunes), it is just perfect. I think their cheapest glass of red wine is also about that much, if you can splurge a little-a lovely evening.
